Nests 2 and 3 update

On Nest 2, 37 and EB had settled well by 7 April. The first fish seen to be delivered by 37 was on the afternoon of 6 April.

37 got on with more nestoration whilst EB contemplated food.

Later, no doubt EB was telling 37 how good that fish tasted!

The next day, the pair were reaffirming their bond well.

Unfortunately, for the last two days the nestcam hasn’t streamed. Forestry Commission Radio and Electronics Branch staff will be at Kielder on Thursday to try and resolve various problems, including this one.

We do know where EB was this afternoon, though.

The condensation on the camera lens doesn’t help, but this osprey doesn’t look like either of the residents from the head markings.
