Second Nest 4 hatch

Whilst 69 was feeding chick 1 on Nest 4 this morning, in the background we could follow the 2nd hatch process.

Mrs 69 brooded soon after the above screenshot. The next time there was a good view into the nest cup chick 2 could be seen just clear of the shell.

The second hatch occurred nearly 37 days after the egg was laid, a bit longer than the average for the middle egg. Egg 3 has just entered the 35th day, so could hatch later today.
