Update on UV

The last post about UV posed the question would he return to Kielder on Wednesday given the data showed him heading away from the area in the morning. Here’s the answer. However after his flying tour of two nests UV went west again. Yesterday he spent much of the day just east of Bowness-on-Solway in the area between the Rivers Eden and Border Esk. Water courses dominate the landscape.

UV’s uncle, 37, may have been not far from there a couple of days earlier because he arrived at Nest 2 with the first flatfish we’ve seen on camera this season.
