UV is in the UK

UV has arrived in the UK. The times are UTC.

30 April: UV reaches the UK

He was flying at 05.19 UTC, an early start for him.  Data for 28 April is still missing so we should receive another email later.

It’s always a special moment to see that first fix over UK soil! UV outran the incoming weather front as this graphic shows.

It is excellent news, Ann. Will save champers for safe return to Northumberland but a glass of something is certainly on the cards!
