UV is in northern France

We only have partial data but last night’s download indicates UV left NE Spain sometime on 28 April. By 18.13 UTC yesterday he was about 40 km NW of Angers.

UV had covered around 790 km in that time. Since setting off from the Langue de Barbarie on 13 April he’s flown about 4600 km. The missing data should backfill in today’s email.

Last year UV spent a couple of days exploring marshy areas in Lower Normandy before crossing to the UK. Will he linger this year too?

He’s exploring his world, and why not! It’s wonderful to think that your next Blog might well find UV in Britain.
