The Nest 3 pair are together again

There was a welcome sight at Nest 3 today.

On Thursday the female was still ‘home alone’.

The male may have returned yesterday – if not he has done a fair amount of work on the nest today. No wonder he had a nap.

He incubates more than the c30% estimate for most males – if limited recording is an accurate reflection. Today he had some early practice.

We’re thrilled to have three of the four breeding pairs and the Nest 4 female back safely. We hope to see Blue 69 very soon.
