Nest 2 is ‘full’!

White EB has returned to Kielder. She was in the nest cup when the nestcam stream began at 10.00, legs not visible. But she has a mark on her right eye, helpful for identification.

She moved a stick and scraped in the nest cup area.

37 had put that stick in the wrong place!

EB and 37 were seen by Forestry Commission Wildlife Ranger Paul early this morning near their nest. She must have returned yesterday although nestcam streaming problems means we can’t confirm that.

Two hours monitoring around Nest 3 yesterday produced no sightings of the female, nor the male. Last year he was back by the end of March but there is still ample time.
