A Welsh visitor!

Look who landed on Nest 1 yesterday! Blue 2R – Clarach – a 2013 Dyfi Opsrey Project female is touring England and Wales. She is the first Dyfi-bred osprey known to have returned to the UK, so a very special osprey.

She has already visited YA and 37’s natal site, Glaslyn. And Rutland Water.

And a short video.

New readers should be aware that this nest site was abandoned this year in favour of another platform although YA has been keeping an eye on his old HQ!

How wonderful – a vacant nest! Now, if only she’ll claim this one next year and attrack a male.

Wonder if UV will be ready to hang up his haversack next year ……
