Flying fish!

On Monday life on Nest 2 was all about basking in the sunshine. But in late afternoon there was a bit of drama! White EB was incubating and had been dozing. She became more alert and after a few seconds 37 flew into view carrying a fish. But as he reached the nest an intruder arrived and the fish was dropped. 37 came back to incubate. White EB reappeared at 17.12 so may have found the fish and had her meal after all.

Many thanks to Paul for creating the video with the slow motion section.

Yesterday UV was still in cloudy eastern Spain having a well earned break.

Well, I really do hope EB found her fish, it looked a good size. Just as well 37 was nearly home when the intruder showed. Thank you for a very interesting Blog and video. Thank you Paul.
