Wonderful to see you again!

Nest 1 has been an empty place recently but this morning it had a welcome visitor.

Blue 2H hatched on Nest 2 in 2012 and paid all three nests a visit last year. He was seen more on Nest 1 than either of the others (although there is limited recording on Nest 3). So will we see him stake a claim?

He was only on camera for a few minutes but he looked at ease and in good condition post-migration.

Wonderful news Joanna! I hope he makes Kielder his summer home, that would be fantastic. Although I have to say he would be very welcome at Glaslyn. ;)

I’m sure he would be welcome, Viv, but send one of your spare females here instead, please! Seeing one of Yellow 37 or White YA’s young breed at Kielder will be a dream come true.
