Getting along

The weather at Kielder has been wet and chilly at times this week. Yesterday at higher levels there were several hail showers.

On Nest 2  White EB is still with 37.

On Tuesday 37 brought two fish to the nest. The one in the later afternoon was passed back and forth between them.

The pair have ‘nestorised’ and sat or stood closer together on the nest.

However EB is still rejecting many of 37’s attempts to copulate, and there are lots of them!

For the family who were on their way to Aviemore yesterday and stopped at Kielder Castle Café – yes, YA did respond to Mrs YA’s shouting and landed with a headless fish. Four minutes after you left!
