More on Nest 1’s second egg and Nest 2’s first

It is hard to keep up with the action at Kielder, but first a link to the video of Mrs YA laying her second egg, with YA in close attendance!

After the second egg was laid Mrs YA shuffled the two eggs around the cup before settling back down on them. This image shows her about to settle again.

Over on Nest 2 Mrs 37 was incubating when the live streaming began. This is the first view via the nestcam of 37 seeing his egg.

He went on to incubate for a long time after bringing a good size fish for Mrs 37.

In the sun 37 could stand off the egg for a while.

There shouldn’t be an egg on either nest tomorrow, but maybe Wednesday for Nest 2 …
