Up, down, up again. Anyone confused?!

Yesterday’s update on UV left him quite near his overnight roost so was this going to be his spot for a few days? No, he headed south again and roosted relatively near Rutland Water 30(05)’s most frequented area. He arrived at his roost spot after sunset and left at a very early hour for him, before sunrise. So was he sent packing? Here is an image of UV’s roost in relation to 30(05) territory.

UV continued north up the coast after his early start and by mid afternoon was not far from St Louis. Again.

When the last fix came in he was by a lagoon. Sounds familiar?

This is the southern end of the Langue de Barbarie which is a Senegalese National Park. It looks not unlike UV’s lagoon at Bajo Tortugo. But inland there is fertile land, not desert.  That means more human activity than UV is used to, so will he linger or go? Another cliffhanger!
