More breaking news!

Another two eggs have hatched at Kielder today, one on each nest and at almost the same time!

At 15.00, the third chick on Nest 1 managed to shake the shell off its head. It is to the right in the image, the head of one sibling is to the left of the centre chick with its back to the camera.

Over on Nest 2 37 landed with a fish and as Mrs 37 stood, a second chick could be seen! Feeding took place but it wasn’t clear whether both chicks ate as Mrs 37 shielded them from view.
