Happy Seventh Birthday, White YA

A quiet day on the nests but a special day too – YA hatched seven years ago at Glaslyn. Here are a few images of him today, with special thanks to Amy of Kielder Castle Cafe for taking the videos.

A belated Happy Birthday for yesterday YA. He looks really stunning in the first photo. Thank you for the regular updates and photos I look forward to them. An even more busy time lies ahead for you as eggs hatch and chicks emerge from their shells. A new generation of Ospreys, a reward for all the time, effort, and worry that is protecting these magnificent Osprey. Thank you to all involved.

He is stunning, Viv, just like his father who you and your colleagues at Glaslyn ‘look after’.
YA’s (and 37’s) tiny siblings look stronger with each video you post, thanks for sharing them with the world. Hope we’ll have some to post in a couple of weeks!

  3. What a fabulous spread of wings. Happy birthday YA and many more of them.

YA fabulous and happy birthday and a cheeky boy at Blagdon lakes last year. He will always be remembered for that. He would not learn his lesson would he ? A special Osprey and not forgetting 37 first fledged at Glaslyn. You have two special Ospreys at Kielder :)
