All quiet at Kielder Nest 1 this morning, with a lot of changeovers of incubation duty and some renewed efforts to add to the nest. Which looks a mess!

YA is quite comfortable incubating; this year he is behaving more like 37, who has always been happy on the eggs.

Although it is over 24 hours since the third egg was laid, YA still attempted to mate today and Mrs YA was receptive. Maybe a fourth egg?! Unlikely, but watch this space.
