The last few days

Things have settled down over the last few days, with Blue 6H still feeding on the nest and YA apparently still providing the fish.

YA has delivered ‘fish with head on’ a few times, including a live one during Wednesday’s Osprey Watch. Blue 6H has no problem tucking in. Mrs YA is still around; during Osprey Watch she brought in a large stick and re-arranged nest material at times.

Also during the Watch two ospreys were seen flying over the water, one probably from Nest 2 given direction of travel. So still plenty of action in the nest area and over the reservoir!

The coming weekend sees the last three Osprey Watches, so if you are heading to the Kielder area, drop in and have a look through the scopes. The nestcam coverage will continue for a bit longer.

Talking of which, here’s an image of the fledgling.
