Not a lot of news but nice pics!

Blue 6H has eaten from two fish, or possibly one recycled, on the nest today and sat on the edge of the nest fairly often. So it still seems to be home for the youngster, despite that long initial absence post-fledge.

Both adults were on and off the nest too, sometime doing the inevitable ‘furniture moving’ chores. Mrs YA whacked Blue 6H during one of her efforts, not for the first time!

The morning fish was a whole one though not alive, and Blue 6H was very keen to get it off  YA as the images show.

Some visitors to Kielder reported seeing four ospreys in a group around the dam on Sunday. Was this an adult and the fledglings from Nest 2? Very possibly. Lucky visitors, whoever the ospreys were!
