A few photos relating to Osprey Watch on 17 August

Further to the Report from Saturday’s volunteers, one of them, Neil, must have an underwater camera because he’s sent a couple of photos to illustrate the point about the weather seeming to improve for set up but then deteriorating.

Dave valiantly covers the scopes whilst getting wet!

As the Report said, the day was a bit bereft of action until events from 14.30 made everything worthwhile, with Blue 6H returning from a long absence as far as camera coverage can confirm.

Here are a few images of the fledgling on Saturday.

Thank you for today’s photographs. Each day I wonder if the last day of seeing the family has arrived. I open Email several times each day just in case there is another report and photographs

Thanks for your interest, Peter. We hope the Nest 1 family will be around the nest area for a few days yet, and Osprey Watch is planned to run until (and inc) BH Monday 26 August.
